Not Your Grandmother's Samplers...

When you think of samplers, I'm guessing this is the kind of thing that comes to mind. Cross stitch in days of yore, whilst pretty in a folksy sort of way, isn't going to get the modern stitcher all a-flutter.

As a champion of all thing cross stitch, I've been thinking about this a lot recently. So many people think of this awesome little craft as something stuffy that old ladies do! Not so! There are hosts of amazing designers who are using their boundless creativity to turn this notion on its head.
